FAQ
Do these lights need a transformer (driver)?
Yes, most LED strips run on 12V or 24V DC, so you need a power supply (SMPS) to convert regular 220V electricity.
Can I dim them?
Yes, if you use a dimmable driver or add a separate dimmer controller.
What is Profile Light?
A profile is an aluminum channel with a plastic diffuser cover. You stick the LED strip inside. It protects the strip, cools it down, and diffuses the light.
How much does a signage board cost in Nepal?
Signage costs vary widely based on size, material (acrylic, flex, ACP, metal), and lighting (LED vs non-lit). A basic flex board can start around NPR 150/sq.ft, while premium 3D acrylic letters typically range NPR 80–150 per inch of letter height. We do free site visits and send itemised quotes within 24 hours.
Do you offer a warranty on your products?
Yes — standard 1-year warranty on most products. LED modules carry 1–2 years. Outdoor prints have a colour-fade warranty of 6 months to 3 years depending on ink quality (solvent vs UV). Structural integrity is guaranteed for 5+ years on fabricated work.
Do you install outside Kathmandu valley?
Yes. We install in all 7 cities we serve: Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Pokhara, Chitwan, Biratnagar, Butwal, Dharan. For projects in other locations we coordinate via partner fitters with our QA on site. Logistics and travel are quoted upfront — never billed as a surprise.
What's your standard lead time?
Most signage projects ship in 7–14 working days from design approval, plus 1–3 days for install. Rush jobs (24-hour service) are available when capacity allows. Complex builds — large LED video walls, monument signs with foundation work, photoreal 3D experiences — quote individually.
What materials hold up best to Nepal's monsoon and UV?
For 5+ year outdoor life: ACP-faced channel letters with marine-grade stainless backers, weatherproof power supplies (IP65+), UV-stable acrylic faces, and primer + automotive PU paint on metalwork. Cheaper alternatives exist — we'll always tell you the trade-off.
Do you do illuminated facades and pylons?
Yes — front-lit, back-lit (halo), edge-lit, and full ACP cladding with embedded LED facades. Pylon signs include foundation work, structural engineering certification, and municipal permit handling.
How are billboards priced in Nepal?
Billboard cost = fabrication + structural work + printing + monthly rental of the location. Static hoardings start ~NPR 600/sq.ft fabricated; LED billboards are quoted per pitch (P10 / P6 / P4) and per square metre. We can also broker location rentals through our outdoor media partners.
What's the difference between 2D and 3D signage?
2D signage is flat (printed boards, vinyl, ACP graphics). 3D signage has raised depth — acrylic letters, channel letters, neon. 3D reads as more premium, supports illumination from inside (front lit / halo / edge lit), and lasts significantly longer outdoors.
Which is more durable: ACP or sunboard for 2D boards?
ACP (aluminium composite panel) wins for outdoor — UV-stable, rigid, lasts 7–10 years. Sunboard (foam-core PVC) is lighter and cheaper, better for indoor, lasts 2–4 years outdoor before yellowing. We default to ACP outdoors unless budget specifically rules it out.
Can you laser-cut acrylic to any custom shape?
Yes. Logos, letters, dimensional shapes, jigsaw-style assemblies — all within our laser bed limits (1200×900 mm per piece). Multi-piece assemblies for larger work. We work from your AI / CDR / DXF vector files, or we'll re-draw from a JPEG for a small fee.
Flex vs vinyl — what's the difference?
Flex is a softer banner-like material used for hoardings and lightboxes (cheaper, translucent for back-lighting). Vinyl is sticker material for rigid surfaces — sunboard, glass, walls (sharper print, adhesive backed). Different jobs, different materials.
Can I print phone photos on canvas?
Yes, if resolution is high enough. Modern smartphones handle prints up to 16×20 inches comfortably. For larger sizes, send the original file (AirDrop, Drive, Dropbox) rather than a WhatsApp-compressed copy — WhatsApp re-encodes and softens images.

Light Up Your Home
If you're researching seamless lines of light for your business, two things usually drive the decision: how it makes your brand look from the street, and how much you'll pay across the next five years — fabrication, install, electricity, maintenance, and replacement when it weathers. We've delivered seamless lines of light for everything from boutique cafés in Thamel to multi-branch banks across all 7 cities we serve. The patterns we keep seeing inform every recommendation on this page.
For most Nepali businesses, the seamless lines of light they end up with isn't the cheapest quote they received — it's the one where the supplier explained why a particular material lasts longer in monsoon, why a specific power supply spec matters for our voltage fluctuations, and which municipal permits they'll handle on your behalf. Cheap quotes that skip these details almost always cost more within 18 months.
What follows is a breakdown of materials we recommend, what affects pricing, our 4-step process from consultation to install, and answers to the questions clients ask us every week. We work factory-direct from our ISO 9001:2015 facility in Teku, Kathmandu — which means you're talking to the people actually fabricating your signage, not a chain of subcontractors.
If a competing quote is more than 30% cheaper than ours, ask them three questions: (1) what's the LED driver brand, (2) what's the IP rating on the power supply, and (3) who handles the municipal permit. If they can't answer all three, you're looking at a sign that will fail before your next FY closes.
Quotes for seamless lines of light in Nepal can vary 3-4× for what looks like the same project. The variation isn't random — it's almost always driven by these factors, in roughly this order of impact:
1. Material grade. Premium acrylic from Plazit, COB LEDs from reputable Korean/Taiwanese manufacturers, marine-grade stainless steel — these cost more upfront and last 2-3× longer. Cheaper alternatives exist, and we'll use them when budget is tight, but we always tell you what the trade-off is.
2. Size and complexity. A standard 4×8 ft board costs much less per square foot than a custom 3D installation with curved letters. Our quote breaks down material cost vs. fabrication labour so you can see exactly where money goes.
3. Lighting and electricals. If your seamless lines of light is illuminated, the power supply quality, LED driver brand, and cable gauge significantly affect both cost and 5-year reliability. Sub-standard power supplies are the #1 reason cheap signs fail within 18 months.
4. Installation site. Ground-level shop fronts are straightforward. Multi-storey building facades, monument signs requiring foundation work, or LED video walls with structural mounting can add 30-50% to the project budget for rigging, scaffolding, and permits.
5. Permits and approvals. Kathmandu Metropolitan, Lalitpur, and other municipalities require permits for outdoor signage above certain sizes. We handle the entire permit workflow as part of every install — included in the quote, never billed extra.
Tell us your dimensions, location, and budget range and we'll send a transparent breakdown within 2 hours.
We launched in 2025 with a clear opinion: most signage in Kathmandu ages badly because nobody documents what they shipped. Our Teku shop floor runs on a four-stage QA loop — documented intake, design review, fabrication QC, and post-install inspection. When something doesn't pass, it doesn't ship. That discipline is why we've put up 500+ signs in our first year and not had to redo any of them.
Practically, what this means for your seamless lines of light: when you call about an issue six months from now, we can pull up your project file, see exactly which materials and which technicians worked on it, and dispatch the right fix the same day. That continuity is rare in Nepal's signage market and it's why corporate clients — banks, hotels, hospitals, government contracts — keep coming back.
We're also vertically integrated. We own our CNC routers, our laser cutters, our printing line, our paint booth, our metalwork, and our install team. When a job touches four trades, you don't get four sub-contractors and four chances for the timeline to slip. You get one team, one accountable project lead, and one phone number that picks up.
Same-day fault diagnosis on any sign we've ever shipped. Documented material lot numbers per project. Lifetime free design-file storage. Direct WhatsApp line to the shop floor lead, not a call centre.
